Four Unique Races
Warcraft 3 is equipped with four playable races, each with their own unique buildings, units, heroes, and magical abilities. The Humans and the Orcs are returning favorites while the Night Elves and the Undead are new comers to the Warcraft stage.
Races Specific Heros
Always eager to improve on their games, Blizzard has added a significant RPG element to Warcraft 3, as opposed to the typically strategy based previous Warcraft titles.
3 Dimension Playable World

Higher Resolutions

Items and Inventories
With your Heroes in Warcraft III you can acquire up to six different items, to be kept in your heroes inventory. Items can range in a multitude of ways, from turning your hero invisible to regenerating the health of other units. If used properly items can be very useful in winning a battle where your out numbered.
Neutral Units and Buildings
Neutral units - or creeps as they are called - are placed in strategic locations around maps often nearby extra gold mines that would make for useful expansions, if you can defeat the creeps. They are also very useful in getting quick experience for your heroes early in the game. Neutral Buildings can only be accessed by a hero and allow you to hire mercenary fighters or purchase magic items.
World Editor
Similar to the map editor from games like Starcraft , the world design tools allow players to customize many aspects of the game including tile sets, character art, quests, mission objectives, unit types, AI, attributes, special abilities and spells.
